Thief-In-Chief, George W. Bush has come forward commenting on how "what Mugabe was doing was wrong", and that “in a democracy, the votes of the people should be respected".

(Which all probably deserves some backstory, so here we go)

Now you probably remember me talking about the events in Zimbabwe, and it's 'odd' political climate. Well, that was in the early days following their election, it has since become quite apparent that Mugabe is unwilling to relinquish power, and peace-makers in the region are talking about a power sharing arrangement in the hopes that this would prevent an eruption of violence (not that dissimilar to what has been seen in Kenya)

So when George W. stepped forward saying this, I did a quick double-take, all “Whoa! Stop the presses! Is that the pot calling the kettle black?"

After all this is the man who LOST the 2001 elections
(Remember that 'crazy' Florida Scandal. Gore winning more of the popular vote? Is it little surprise that George W. now has the lowest approval rating in American History?)

Curiously, I don’t remember Mugabe commenting on this at the time.

Of course the voices coming from Capitol Hill have always been a hotbed of hypocrisy and double standards.
