Dictate the Questions,

So continuing my "View-of-politics-from-a-half-baked-man" series, have you noticed the big question in the current US presidential race?

All we hear about is "Hilary vs Barrack". Oh sure, there's a republican candidate somewhere, but for all the airplay he's getting he may as well be a third party candidate.

One question seems to be dominating the airwaves.
One simple message;
"Who is your preferred President- Hilary Clinton OR Barack Obama?"

And this is the cleverest piece of political marketing I have ever seen.
(Yep, even clever than declaring pre-emptive victory)

The message dictates clearly that American's have two choices!
And both are Democrat candidates.

The question is not "Democrat or Republican?", But instead "Clinton or Obama?"
(In fact, this has worked so well I've even had a few friends ask which one was the republican; "Barack something, right?")

John McCain's name remains blatantly omitted. You might of heard of McCain, Republican candidate, who (allegedly) has a problem with Adultery, a junkie second wife, criminal ties, conveniently swapped swaps religions and all other sorts of messy scandals dogging his trail.

So the Question has become Which Democrat do you want for president. Immediately pre-supposing a Democrat win (perhaps it's not dissimilar to pre-emptive victory after all)

So will it work?

Well, probably. It's clear that people are ready for a change.

And here's hoping that is a good thing for us all.
