Tenacity of life

It's been a hard few days, and this week is shaping up to be incredibly busy, frustrating and difficult.
We've all been there right?

And then the universe has it's ways of telling us to "Hang-in-there."

That's what this image is about.

Last night, after having put the car in the garage, I was standing there looking up thinking "How am I going to get through this?" And then I looked of to my side to see this - A small shoot of grass growing happily from a crack in the wall.

The universe had heard me, and offered a reminder of the tenacity of life. This small plant had found the unlikeliest of niches, the cement cracks being a truly difficult place to flourish in, and yet, flourishing it was.

Sure, the world has never been kind to me, but it has shown mercy;
And this was one of those moments.
With this sudden flash of beauty to sustain me through the coming week I realised perhaps I could flourish in hardship too?
