Sure, they’re easy to criticise.

Especially after so many "Ticketing Fiasco's" that the story is no longer newsworthy. And substandard equipment and maintenance schedules have resulted in regular, occasionally disastrous, breakdowns,
(It more than highlights the inherent problems of privatisation, and hopefully the current contracts will not be renewed. Well, I can hope can't I?)
